About

Harefield Place

Harefield Place is an exclusive collection of 25 luxury, two and three bedroom apartments nestled in 8.5 acres of greenbelt countryside. Situated in Ickenham, just off one of the most desirable private roads in Middlesex, this magnificent development offers nine spectacular homes in the original Georgian Mansion, and 16 stunning contemporary apartments in the new build. Both buildings will sit within extensive, beautifully landscaped grounds; enjoy the exclusive use of private facilities and a secluded lake; and have unparalleled views overlooking the Colne Valley Regional Park and South Buckinghamshire.

New ID Living were commissioned by the developers and agents Beauchamp Estates to interior design and furnish the show apartment.

Panelling is currently a huge trend so in the master bedroom I used some Cole and Son panelling wallpaper in olive and softened it with a curved style navy headboard to bring an element of luxury. To again bring fun in to the space I used a leaf design throw which gave the room a real wow factor. The second bedroom I used varied textured fabrics to give interest to the space. The artwork was black and white photography which was chosen to compliment the patterned wallpaper. Artwork used throughout the design was contemporary colourful prints which really gave the apartment overall modern feels.

“With its illustrious history and famous historic visitors such as Queen Elizabeth I and Lord Randolph Churchill, Harefield Place provides beautiful lateral apartments and leisure facilities in a Georgian manor house setting, surrounded by landscaped gardens and parkland. We commissioned New ID Living to dress the 2 bedroom show apartment in the contemporary building which they have done with great flair, both on time and to budget.” Paul Finch – Sales Director

The show apartment is situated in the contemporary new build part of the development, so needed to have a clear contrast to the classic show apartment in the other part of the development. The apartment is finished to a luxury high specification so the design needed to compliment this. The open plan kitchen / living / dining area was a great space to design. To make it have a more homely lived in feel I decided to go for a large corner sofa in a neutral fabric and then bring personality and colour into the space with fun cushions. Classic elements of the design complimented the contemporary feel to give an overall classy feel.
