Chapelton, Aberdeen

Chapelton is a new community near Aberdeen inspired by the traditional settlements of north-east Scotland, combining period character with modern homes and local materials.

New ID Living’s lead designer Amrit Lattimore wanted to bring a sense of place into the show home through a warm, contemporary scheme, complementing features such as slate, granite, stone and multi-fuel stoves.

“We wanted the interior to reflect Chapelton’s traditional character while giving the home a fresh and contemporary feel,” said Jonathan Caplan, Founder of New ID Living.
