Meet the Designer
Senior Interior Designer
Zoe Hartridge
I have worked in the industry for over 20 years, since completing my degree in Surface Pattern and Printed Textile design.
I joined New ID in 2006 as an Interior Designer. About 4 years ago I was offered the position of ‘Director of Design’. Whilst I still enjoy all aspects of design, my role now requires me to ensure my team members are happy and the department runs smoothly. As you can imagine this can be challenging at times but also very rewarding!
I adore my profession as it allows me to be innovative, experimenting with textures, colours, and patterns. In addition to the creative side of my role, I enjoy working, interacting and building a rapport with my clients.
One of the highlights of my career was to have one of my show houses included in a book called ‘Small and Chic -High Style for Small Spaces – by Bridget Vranckx’. I have also featured in the ‘Mail on Sunday – Homes and Gardens’, where I gave advice in an article titled ‘A -list interiors without the designer price tag’.
In my spare time I love travelling, In particular I have had the pleasure of visiting Dubai on a number of occasions, where I have observed very unique interiors and being a food lover have sampled some fantastic cuisines.
I confess that I also have an addiction to clothes and shoes shopping!! I find it therapeutic but often it gives me ideas for interior schemes. I always see a variety of colour ways in the fashion collections which often inspires my designs.
