About
The Show Home
The development comprises 56 stylish Eco friendly new homes located in the Broughton Green area of Milton Keynes.
Designed to help you live a more eco-friendly life each property comes with digitally connected accessories fitted as standard.
Each house is laid out in a Swedish style open plan arrangement with high ceilings to increase the feeling of space, triple glazed windows let in lots of light while limiting the loss of heat
The ceiling light in the reception room is the main feature and adds an interesting talking point, this along with the use of natural materials such as mango wood and textures like sheepskins and heavy weaves bring a rustic but inviting quality to the interior.
It has contrasting textures along with soft pinks, greens and greys in the fabrics to soften the overall feel in the bedrooms, but the use of wood still features heavily throughout and is crucial to achieving this look.
Another significant Swedish element that we have included are headboard-less beds, and the use of scatter cushions and throws to achieve that ‘lived in’ feel. Swedish interiors often include interesting, yet simple interior details which I have incorporated through the use of feature lighting and interior accessories.
The brief from our client was to create a design which complimented and took into consideration the branding and methodology behind Trivselhus as a developer. The key to this was creating an interior which represented their foundation as a Property Developer, therefore, it was key to incorporate Swedish inspired styling to represent their identity.
