About
Chapleton, Aberdeen
At Chapelton, there is a combination of desirable period building features with the latest modern conveniences, creating superb homes Chapelton is inspired by the urban settlements of historic towns such as Montrose, Stonehaven and St Andrews.
The homes pay homage to the established buildings of north eastern Scotland, integrating local materials such as slate, granite and stone.
Excellence comes as standard, with a range of stylish kitchens, floor tiles and bathroom wall tiles to choose from. All of the homes are fitted with bespoke Ashley Ann kitchens with Bosch appliances throughout. Each house has a multi-fuel stove to provide heat, warmth and a beautiful focal point and many of our houses are fitted with light pipes to bring natural light into areas such as hallways and bathrooms.
Nearby attractions include Stonehaven Harbour, a pretty fishing area with twenty miles of bird watching coastline.
The location offers the very best of rural and modern life. It’s the perfect place for hikers and dog walkers, with forest walks and Stonehaven harbour on your doorstep.

The brief of the show home was to create a modern country scheme using rustic elements to add warmth and character. The rustic features were inspired by the architecture of the surrounding areas. Most of the scheme was kept neutral to keep it simple and minimalistic, however there were touches of colour used in each room to bring the scheme alive. The use of fabric textures played an important part to keep within the brief, e.g. the tan leather sofas in living room. This room was actually a personal favourite of mine – the feature logs around the fireplace were very welcoming and created a warm feeling. The final look certainly creates a sense of cosy family living, whilst combining comfort and style.
