The Show Home

New ID Living were commissioned by AmsProp to design and furnish a two bedroom apartment in this newly refurbished development in Central London.

This period building is situated in the St James conservation area on the corner of St James Street and Bennet Street. The apartment is on the 2nd Floor of this six storey building

St James’s is an exclusive enclave in Central London, formerly residential but now increasingly commercial, with some of the highest office rents in London and thus the world. St James’s Street plays host to several of London’s renowned gentlemen’s clubs, as well as fine wine and other high-end retailers.

The apartment comprises a beautifully appointed accommodation totalling 1700 sq ft, comprising reception room, two bedrooms, study/bedroom 3 and two en suite bathrooms and a family bathroom.

The coffee table in the living room was a real design feature with a dusty pink marble top, which contrasted to the black and brass finishes throughout. We brought luxury into the apartment with deep buttoned upholstery details and designed using various textures and tones, both with the furniture and soft furnishings.

James Hughes Director of Amsprop Central said “I was very impressed with these ease and professional service I received from all members of the New ID Living team. The project from start to finish ran like clockwork, was on budget and we were delighted with the finished outcome. The apartment looks fantastic.”

The brief was a timeless, neutral scheme in Mayfair.

The hallway was designed with large black and white photographic artwork to bring personality to the space, teamed with a solid wooden sideboard which had brass detail for warmth. It was a generous space and allowed for a chaise lounge which was upholstered in slate blue velvet to give another element to the area.
